I saw snow in Lisbon this afternoon, for the first time in my living memory :) The cold wave that affected most of Europe also reached us, and a lot of people must have seen snow for the first time in their lives. I went outside to take these pictures and felt like a child. The snow didn't last long and melted as soon as it reached the ground.

LOL, I think for the first time in my life I am envious of your snow!! We havent had much this yr, and that is very unusual for this part of the Northeast.

Nuno, deves estar habituado a isto por essas bandas. :)) Por cá, muita gente ainda se belisca para acreditar que aconteceu. Foi muito bonito, mas a neve derreteu depressa em Lisboa e raramente criou um manto branco nos jardins.

Wow! These snow shots are amazing. Were people just out gaping in the streets? (Or from the windows). It sounds like snow in Lisbon is like snow in the low areas of Southern California -- a true oddity. Glad you got to experience it. :)
