A blog with pictures and memories from life in Lisbon. Um blogue de recordações de Milan Perveze...

The Chiado area is a hilly place, with fine monuments and a fashionable comercial area. The streets were quite empty last night, and everybody just kept talking about a cold wave coming from northern Europe, quite alien to our mild winter temperatures.

This photo gives me a movie-esque feeling...kind of like you would expect someone to be hurrying through this chic area, which is only deserted because it is late, late at night and all the cafes and clubs are closed...

K., quite so... During daytime, it is so packed, you can hardly move in that place. Even at night, in the summer, is like that. I guess it was the cold, and the fact that it was monday when I took the picture.
