Hi K.! Yes, almost three hundred years old, which is not a lot over here. These arches resemble the old Roman ones - just the shape of the arch is different - apparently they could only make round ones in ancient times, unlike these ones. People were able to cross it like a bridge a century ago, but then we had our own version of "Jack the Ripper" killing women over there, and it was closed to the public since than....
