My endless fascination with the Tagus... I rarely use the ferries that cross the river every ten minutes, so I took the opportunity to take some pics today. These past few days have had wonderful weather - not too fresh, not too hot, just like it should always be...

the last picture...very nostalgic...
the colour make this pictures look old... wonderful

is there any bridges connecting both the banks of Tagus River?
or only ferries services both part of tagus?

I can see you have a very clear and blue sky...one fine day for outings and travelling...hmm...simply fantastic...

me myself has not been anyway lately...hence the lack of pictures in my blog...gonna find one day to go out...

That second shot, looking up at the woman's hair and sky is really cool. There's such movement in it - like you captured the wind in the shot. :)

It's so good to cross the river by boat. It's great to feel that breeze in hot summer days.

Thanks for passing by guys. Z., we have some three bridges crossing the Tagus near Lisbon - a Golden Gate look-a-like, 2km long, the Vasco da Gama Bridge, 20kms long, and another one from the beinning of the century, 30 kms East of Lisbon. The first one is the one more widely used. K., I also like that picture as well (it was two black ladies with died, blond hair, quite extravagant and good looking :)). Nuno, indeed, that breese you get is just wonderful. Ian, fortunately, the weather here is always nice - one of the few things we can't complain about :) Odd, glad you liked the colours, I basically used a yellow filter in Paint Shop to make colours warmer.

Milan, these are great, they remind me of the old photography my dad used to do when I was little. Very nicely done :)

Thanks Wendi, that effect was precisely what I wanted to achieve :)

Oh well... everyone has already said what I wanted... but who to blame if not myself?! I should have passed here earlier...

Anyway, the photos are great. The old effect is even greater. And you, Milan, you're a great photographer! ;)

Yes Z., the same happened to me. I think it's a temporary problem with Blogger, it happens quite frequently actually. Very likely it's fixed by now.
