I was back to Merida, Spain, some days ago, and ended up travelling a bit around the area, to see the old Roman ruins. These ones belong to one of many aqueducts and is around 2000 years old.

Good to see you here guys. Z., actually the ruins are right in the middle of a park and the whole area is heavily urbanized. The Roman monuments have all been restored magnificently.

They are such romantic images. Many a young girl's heart would flutter at the thought of a summer picnic at such a site. A little bread, a little wine, whispered words and stolen embraces... Okay, I have to stop reading those romance novels. lol!
