This grand building used to be a cinema, the Tivoli... Now we go to the movies in huge shopping malls. It remained closed for years, and opened again recently, as a theater. Took this picture today, right before entering the subway.

we used to have cinema in a stand-alone building, now as you said, are all in huge shopping malls

One of my best memories as a child is going to the old theatres, seeing movies in these grand old buildings, leftover from the days before tv, and it always made the movie seem "bigger" than life. I'm glad that they are making this a movie theatre again, I Hope many will patronize them.
